HEART SOUND RECORDER
The Heart Sound Recorder (HSR) is a general wellness cardiac stress monitor with a specialized microphone strategically positioned to hear the sounds of the four heart valves. This device records the Rate, Rhythm and Tone of the heart which allows us to do comparison studies and track progress.
The Heart Sound Recorder allows clinicians to visually see what is not able to be heard by using only a stethoscope.
With a precise and powerful sensor, we are able to see sounds of the heart that may be too subtle to hear or are in an inaudible range. This device is tuned to only hear the sounds generated by the heart without any other sounds from the body coming through. This makes The Heart Sound Recorder truly unique and one of a kind. The Heart Sound Recorder monitors your heart by visualizing the Rate, Rhythm, and Tone of the heart cycle. As a result, the heart’s reaction to certain stressors (i.e. chemical, nutritional, and emotional) can be observed using this device. Comparison graphs help determine the effectiveness of actions taken to improve quality of life.
The Test
The Heart Sound Recorder is a non-invasive test that is done here in our office. A highly-sensitive microphone is placed on the patient’s chest in order to record the rate, rhythm, and tone of their heart. By analyzing the sound-wave patterns, our staff can determine what nutritional support the patient’s heart may need for optimum performance.
